In the days since the Queen's death, people have been mourning the monarch in a variety of ways. For some, laying floral tributes and joining with other mourners has been healing, but others prefer moments of quiet reflection. Grief is a personal thing, and there is no one correct response. But it is fair to say one mourner may have gone further than most in their effort to pay tribute to the late monarch, as a man has gotten a tattoo of the Queen. The tribute features Her Majesty and Paddington Bear, who enjoyed a special relationship with Queen Elizbeth II.
The tattoo was inspired by the work of illustrator Eleanor Tomlinson (

Jon, from Wallsend, Newcastle, said a client brought the drawing in for him to ink. He said: "It's very common in this industry to have requests for tribute tattoos after a well-known person passes away.

"On the day of the funeral I will close the shop and use the money from the reduced-price tattoo to buy flowers to put outside of the shop." The Queen and Paddington Bear famously enjoyed tea together during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations earlier this year. The pair, who had met on several previous occasions, partnered up for a comedy sketch. The sweet surprise, which had been kept secret from the Queen's family, her great-grandchildren included, delighted many, who loved seeing the iconic monarch and the beloved fictional character together. According to a news release from the Prescott Police Department, officers were called out to a tattoo shop called the Lion’s Den Tattoo Company Tuesday around 9 a.m. for a reported burglary.
Officers learned during their investigation that just before 2 a.m., a man got inside the tattoo shop, ransacked it, and broke several things inside, PPD said. He also sprayed tattoo ink all over the walls, floors, ceiling and furniture.
According to KTVK, investigators identified the man as Dylan Wiederholt, 38. He was located about a few blocks away from the tattoo shop covered in tattoo ink. Wiederholt was arrested and he allegedly admitted to ransacking the tattoo shop.
PPD learned that Wiederholt was traveling from California through Arizona on a Greyhound bus. He was kicked off the bus in Arizona and had hitchhiked to Prescott two weeks ago.
According to PPD, Wiederholt has no connection to the business but he told officers he wanted to be “an apprentice and wanted to show his artistic abilities.”
The total damage is estimated to be about $100,000. Wiederholt has been booked in jail and faces burglary and criminal damage charges, according to PPD.

BUENOS AIRES The gunman who tried to shoot Argentina’s Vice President Cristina Kirchner in the face was formally charged Thursday with attempted homicide, as was his girlfriend, court documents showed. Fernando Sabag Montiel, 35, was caught on stunning video pointing a pistol at Kirchner from close range as she greeted supporters outside her home on September 1. After Montiel’s weapon failed to go off for reasons still unknown he was overpowered and arrested, while his girlfriend Brenda Uliarte, 23, was arrested three days later. The judge leading the case, Maria Capuchetti, issued charges of attempted aggravated homicide with premeditation against Sabag Montiel and Uliarte, who will remain in police custody, according to court documents seen by AFP. Judge Capuchetti has yet to issue charges against two of the couple’s acquaintances Agustina Diaz, 21, and Gabriel Carrizo, 27 who were both arrested earlier

The investigation has been based primarily on analysis of the suspects’ social media accounts, computers and phones. They paid particular attention to the fact that Kirchner’s supporters gathered near her house every night. This “was studied in detail by the two (defendants) to choose the right time for the attack,” Capuchetti said. Although the pair have not been shown to be politically radical, Montiel did have tattoos of neo-Nazi symbols. Uliarte showed clear hostility towards Kirchner online, saying in one message: “I sent (someone) to kill Cristina.” Kirchner, the 69-year-old former president, enjoys a loyal support base among followers of the center-left Peronist movement. But she is disliked in equal measure by the political opposition and is at the center of a heated corruption trial from her time in office. The day after the attack, tens of thousands of people demonstrated in several Argentine cities to show their support of her. meeting in the Argentine Senate with priests and nuns working in the slums around the capital. “I feel that I am alive thanks to God and the Virgin Mary,” she said. She also said that Pope Francis, who is Argentine himself, had called her after the attack to express his support.
